Follow up to Engagement

Don't worry everybody, I have a certain criteria to meet before the actual date can be set. So much preperation has already been done, it wasn't much of a suprise to everybody. By the time I actualy proposed, we were in about the 2nd to 3rd month of planning!

With the prerequisites to meet and the rest of the planning it is looking like late January to early February.

Thanks for the encouragement Russ. That is the way we felt too. By the end of this I just know that everyone will be happy and I will be saying "Finally! We have been planning this for 10 Months!" or something like that.

Thanks for the support all, but don't be worried, I am not as hot blooded as you think.

The Truth Behind My "Special Friend"

You all have probably heard the rummor by now. It's true, I'm getting married, and preaty soon too!

Don't fret, I am not going away to the military. I am going to stay right here, in Poulsbo, WA for the time being. When we are married we might move somewhere as far as Seattle but not much further.

My bride-to-be is Hillary Greening, I'm sure most of you have met her. This picture of her is not very good but it was the best I could find in my limited picture library of her.

But hey! You can all pray for us that we can get all of the things that we need for the success full begining of a mairrage.

Budgeting is a subject of greif to me so please pray for LOTS OF MONEY to come our way...or, at least enough to get us through. The Lord provides for His people so pray that we cling to Him at all times, in good and bad.

Hillary's new blog is

Your friend and brother in Christ,

P.S. I still LOVE frisbee!

How Many Girls Does it Take to Screw in a Light Bulb?

Don't answer that.

Having a girlfriend is the most interesting of experiences, I have learned more about Women and even Men from all of this.

I have finaly been able to answer the age old question: who has it easier, Men or Women. I found the answer to be a great and resounding... both! God in His infinant wisdom has made the human experience to be the same all the way around. "Nothing is new under the sun."

God has created Men and Women to be relational beings. We are designed to have a relationship with him and at the same time have relations with each other. We can love each other because it was Him who loved us first! It is the same perfect love that is given to us to give to others.

Love is like frisbee, you can't play by yourself! You need someone to catch and return back to you. To play successfully, you need to communicate and know each other. If you lack communication then you could throw it the opposite way they are going. If you lack knowledge of each other then you could over or under estimate their abilities and you might hurt each other.

So don't be a frisbee hog, and share the love! Be what God has created you to be. Be relational, be a communicator, be loving.

Remember that it is God who filled you up in the first place! Don't try to fill your self, you will only be emptied.

Love one another in the way God intended, Like a game of frisbee.

I love frisbee don't you!

Well, the rummor has gone around that I have a girlfriend. I was sick on Christmas Day! CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT!? I just got over it today! I think it was food poisoning, I never threw up so much in my life!

Hey! Cold Stone Ice Cream is great isn't it? It is like cream that is ... iced.

Huh... arn't 50's movies so funny! They are all... musical and everything. You have about 30 seconds of plot and then a 10 minute song and dance about stars or food or... nouns.

Shoulders are so usefull, they rotate! You can't shrug without them.

Tatoos were first used in Samoa as a sign of manhood going back to antient times!

Incondecent or florecent? Why must I always ponder the hopeless paradox, one is cheaper but the other lasts longer! One is bigger but the other hotter. What to do!?

What is death, really, but another part of life. We all must die someday, so why waste it eating olives!!!

I like curtains, they don't require a lot of maintinence, you just hang them and POOF! Instant shade!

Girls are... ummmm... I don't know anything about girls...

Pictures of New Orleans?

Well... I tried to post a picture of some vending macines that have been ransacked! But this is what I got... What is it? That is the 1 million Yen question!

And here is more!

Well I, at least, have one picture that turned out well. It is a picture of a house in the middle of the street. It didn't have a sufficient foundation to keep it in place!
